1 level (5ml) scoop of Yea-Sacc® weighs approximately 4g

Feed supplements should be fed according to body weight. Introduce to the horse's diet gradually, splitting between feeds (when applicable).

Yea-Sacc® is a complementary feeding stuff for equine animals. Feedmark uses nothing in the formulation of this product that contravenes competition rules.

Probiotics supply the horse’s hindgut with an additional supply of beneficial microbes that are essential for efficient fermentation of fibre, and feeding YeaSacc® has been shown to improve digestion of fibre in the diet, enabling the horse to get the most out of their forage.

What is Yea-Sacc®?

Yea-Sacc® is a live yeast derived from the Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain of yeast. It is the only strain of live yeast that is licensed for use in horses.

How does Yea-Sacc® work?

Yea-Sacc® improves the environment in the hindgut by using up oxygen to create a more favourable enviornment for the hindgut microbes. This enhances the activity of the fibre digesting bacteria.

When would I feed Yea-Sacc instead of BioPro®

Yea-Sacc® is a probiotic, a live culture which adds to the 'good' bacteria in the hindgut. It is suitable for all horses, but for those with specific digestive issues it is advisable to feed BioPro® which is a prebiotic and probiotic supplement. Yea-Sacc® is a good value option for horses that require hindgut support.
