Definitely recommend Gastroc Comfort
Since I’ve used this supplement when feeding my young TB mare she became an absolute different horse, happy, keeping her weight on in winter, I can girth up without being eaten alive , and she’s just a very happy girl now

All my Horses love it and it’s great value for money. I have already recommended it to both friends and clients that have had horses that have previously suffered with ulcers for maintenance.

Fed to a new arrival who had become stressed with the move. Definitely noticed a difference when fastening girth and seemed overall more comfortable.

Nutrition Information

Gastric Comfort™ works within the horse’s stomach, offering targeted help for horses with restricted turnout, those that are sensitive around the stomach and grumpy being saddled, and horses on high-starch diets.

This supplement contains a unique blend of ingredients to help maintain a healthy digestive system and nutritionally soothe the stomach lining. Lecithin and Pectin support the delicate mucosal lining of the stomach, and once ingested, the Magnesium hydroxide forms a soothing gel, helping to coat and line the stomach. Calcium compounds and Liquorice root are included to support a healthy stomach environment and contribute to the maintenance of normal gastric function.

Feeding Guide

Weight of Horse/Pony Amount per feed
Up to 400kg ½ scoop
Over 400kg 1 scoop

1 level (50ml) scoop of Gastric Comfort™weighs approximately 32g

Feed with each meal up to a maximum of three times per day to help maintain a healthy gastric environment.

Gastric Comfort™should be added immediately prior to feeding, keeping the supplement as dry as possible, otherwise effectiveness may be lost.

Avoid feeding large concentrate meals (pellets, mixes and grains). Instead feed little and often throughout the day, especially concentrate feeds. Always feed at least 1.5% of your horse's body weight per day as fibrous forage (for a 500kg horse feed at least 7.5kg of fibre per day). Horses showing signs of excess acid should have continuous access to forage.

Feed supplements should be fed according to body weight. Introduce to the horse's diet gradually, splitting between feeds (when applicable).

Gastric Comfort™is a complementary feeding stuff for equine animals. Feedmark uses nothing in the formulation of this product that contravenes competition rules.

What is the difference between Gastric Comfort® and Ultimate Gastro-Ease®?

Ultimate Gastro-Ease® contains ingredients that maintain the health of the entire digestive tract, whereas Gastric Comfort® focuses on supporting the stomach.

How should Gastric Comfort® be fed?

Gastric Comfort® should be fed with meals at least twice a day, and could be fed three times if necessary. The supplement should be fed with a dry feed or added to soaked/wetted feed immediately prior to serving.

My horse fidgets when girthing up could this help?

The answer depends on what is causing the fidgetiness! Providing the saddle fits, the girth is correctly positioned and tightened, and the horse is correctly trained, girthiness can be a sign that your horse may benefit from gastric support, in which case, Gastric Comfort® will offer support to your horse’s gut, and help maintain normal comfort.

How long will it take for Gastric Comfort® to support my horse?

Every horse is an individual but we recommend you feed for 4 weeks to fully see if Gastric Comfort® helps maintain your horse’s digestive health.
