I hadn't used seaweed for many years and couldn't remember why we stopped. I  read the literature and realised what a great product my horses were missing out on. Very palatable and smells gorgeous I will definitely be using this on our competition horses

Nutrition Information

Ascophyllum Nodosum seaweed provides a rich source of bioavailable minerals, especially Iodine, and has traditionally been used for thyroid support. Seaweed is fed to horses and ponies with cresty necks, and can aid normal fat distribution.  It is also beneficial for the hooves, and is fed by many owners who follow barefoot principals.

Unsuitable for pregnant mares.

Feeding Guide

Up to 400kg ½ scoop
Over 400kg ¾ scoop

 

1 level (50ml) scoop of Seaweed weighs approximately 40g

Unsuitable for pregnant or lactating mares due to the high levels of Iodine in this herb.

Feed supplements should be fed according to body weight. Introduce to the horse's diet gradually, splitting between feeds (when applicable).

Seaweed is a complementary feeding stuff for equine animals.  Feedmark uses nothing in the formulation of this product that contravenes competition rules.
