Nutrition Information

If you are not sure of the nutrient levels in your hay, haylage, or pasture, or you are not feeding the recommended amount of a complete feed, then using a vitamin and mineral based supplement will help to ensure your horse or pony is getting all the vitamins and minerals they need daily.

Feedmark’s Original Balancer™ provides the same balanced supply of vitamins and minerals as our best-selling Benevit® including Chelated Copper, Zinc and Manganese improve mineral absorption, with the added bonus of a scientifically proven probiotic Yea-Sacc®, as well as body conditioning ingredients that are rich in amino acids, the building blocks of protein, which, alongside correct exercise will help with topline. 

Yea-Sacc® is a safe and effective live yeast culture with probiotic action, which has undergone many years of testing and use. It helps to improve digestion to allow your horse to get more out of their diet and supports healthy hindgut function. To be at its most effective, Original Balancer™ needs to be fed every day.

1 level (50ml) scoop of Original Balancer™weighs approximately 42.5g

Youngstock (weaning to 3 years) and pregnant mares during the last 3 months of gestation should be fed at the rates for medium/hard work according to body weight. Alternatively, feed our specifically formulated supplement Mare & Youngstock™ to provide optimum nutrient levels for breeding mares and growing youngsters. 

Feed supplements should be fed according to body weight. Introduce to the horse's diet gradually, splitting between feeds (when applicable).

Original Balancer™is a complementary feeding stuff for equine animals. Feedmark uses nothing in the formulation of this product that contravenes competition rules.
